THE VARI APPLIANCE · PRODUCT DIRECTION

Independent verification.
One sealed box.

Everything VARI needs to verify consequential AI actions—local compute, independent model seats, deterministic evidence checks and an execution gate—integrated into one appliance for your environment.

Buy the box. Plug it in. Run the installer. Approve your systems of record. Start verifying.

The intended experience

From delivery to independent verification.

The customer provisions the authority, not the compute. VARI supplies the verification environment; your organization decides which records may be consulted and which actions may be released.

01 / RECEIVE

Buy the box.

One integrated system, rather than a bill of materials for your infrastructure team.

02 / CONNECT

Plug it in.

Place the appliance within your approved enterprise network boundary.

03 / COMMISSION

Run the installer.

Verify signed components and establish the local services and fail-closed operating point.

04 / AUTHORIZE

Approve your records.

Designate systems of record, approve policies and grant narrowly scoped access.

05 / OPERATE

Start verifying.

Consequential agent actions pass through an independent evidence gate before execution.

Product design target, not a claim of a shipping, customer-qualified appliance. The automated end-to-end commissioning workflow remains under development; each customer integration and enforcement boundary requires validation.

Inside the appliance

A verifier the agent cannot overrule.

VARI checks what the enterprise's designated records and policy actually support. It does not give execution credentials to the agent being evaluated.

Resident local models

Two independently sourced open-weight model seats review evidence. Model selection avoids using the originating agent's lab when an admitted configuration is available.

Deterministic decision

Typed predicates and policy govern whether the required evidence is sufficient. Missing or conflicting required evidence fails closed.

Independent execution gate

The enforcement boundary holds authority, releases only verified payloads, and produces integrity-verifiable evidence of EXECUTE or REFUSE.

Customer authority

Your data stays under your control.

The VARI appliance is intended to operate inside the customer's perimeter with local verification. It requires access only to the specific records and actions the customer authorizes. A new model provider, cloud account or customer-procured GPU server is not part of the intended purchase experience.

Does VARI need enterprise-owned GPU infrastructure?

No. The planned product is a complete appliance containing its own compute and locally hosted verifier models.

Does VARI replace the enterprise's identity or approval systems?

No. Enterprise identity, permissions, policies and the source-of-record owners remain authoritative. VARI adds an evidence condition at the execution boundary.

Can an agent execute if verification is unavailable?

The intended enforcement policy is fail-closed. The agent does not receive direct execution credentials; operational readiness and integration-specific enforcement must be validated before deployment.

Measured engineering baseline

Performance measured. Appliance qualification still open.

The signed October 2026 CFG-003 Rev 2 evaluation kit was measured twice on one NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition. Both runs produced 131 integrity-verifiable decision certificates. The median honest-action times were 4.562 and 4.476 seconds.

Those are recorded internal results on RTX PRO 6000, not DGX Spark measurements or proof that the sealed physical appliance is ready to ship. GB10 remains a candidate platform, subject to ARM64 porting, simultaneous residency, performance and full appliance qualification.

From prototype to product

Making the five-step experience real.

Our development program is turning separately measured verification components into a single reproducible appliance installation. Signed release checks, model integrity, commissioning, protected systems-of-record connectivity, operating-state enforcement and recovery are part of that qualification work.

No NVIDIA partnership or certified GB10 product is implied by the industrial design concept. Customer-ready production hardware, OEM supply and live end-to-end qualification have not yet been established.
